Help with VeyrPiano
For technical help, data-deletion requests, or accessibility feedback, use the contact information on the developer’s public GitHub profile. Include the composition ID only when it is necessary to investigate or delete a specific composition. Never send passwords or unrelated personal information.
VeyrPiano has no user account system and no reviewer credentials are required.
What VeyrPiano stores and why
Last updated: September 6, 2026. VeyrPiano stores the musical state needed to create, reopen, and safely edit a shared composition. That state can include an opaque random composition ID, tempo, notes, velocity, sustain events, visible authorship, revision numbers, timestamps, bounded undo/redo history, and recent operation receipts used to prevent duplicate writes.
No VeyrPiano account
The app does not ask for a VeyrPiano username, password, payment information, contacts, precise location, advertising profile, or health data. ChatGPT and its platform providers may process conversation and connection data under their own policies; VeyrPiano does not control those independent systems.
Capability-based access
There is no account authentication on the VeyrPiano server. A composition ID is a randomly generated capability: the service does not publish or index it, but anyone who obtains the exact ID may be able to read or change that composition through the app. Treat it as a private link and do not place sensitive personal information in a composition.
Use, hosting, and sharing
Composition data is used only to operate the piano roll, reconcile concurrent edits, preserve bounded history, recover the latest authoritative state, and investigate reliability or security failures. The production service and its persistent storage are hosted by Railway. The app does not sell composition data or use it for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Compositions remain stored while the service operates unless they are manually deleted. Each composition keeps at most 40 undo-history snapshots and 16 recent mutation receipts; creation receipts may be retained to make repeated create requests safe. There is currently no in-app delete control. To request deletion, contact support and provide the composition ID. Because VeyrPiano has no account identity to verify against, possession of that ID is necessary to locate the record.
Security and changes
VeyrPiano uses random capability identifiers, revision checks, bounded mutations, and managed hosting controls to reduce accidental disclosure or corruption. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised date.
